Believe it or not, the original Grok Bot started as an exploration of what an ambient computer assistant might look like. I wanted to give an expressive face to a helper that could also use your computer. The character evolved, but that sense of presence stuck around. Looking back, you can already see parts of the eventual app taking shape around it.

Had a lot of fun animating our new Grok Bot icon. It's entirely made in code, with every state, shape and expression able to morph smoothly into the other. And of course, I made it with Grok Build.
