Did you know that global hunger has fallen for a third consecutive year? While progress is real, unfortunately, it's not enough. A healthy diet remains out of reach for 1 in 3 people. And one of our greatest challenges is ensuring that every child grows up in an environment where the healthy choice is also the easy, affordable and accessible choice. As @UNICEF's Global Champion for Nutrition and Zero Childhood Obesity, I'm proud to join their call to action following the latest findings from The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2026. As childhood obesity and undernutrition are two sides of the same coin, we need greater investment and stronger policies to build healthier food environments and better protect children from the marketing of unhealthy food.
