2014 clip shows how much Elon Musk appreciates taxpayers. Host: Taxpayers essentially loaned you, Tesla, almost 500 million dollars. How much of that do you still owe? Elon Musk: We paid the whole loan back with interest and a prepayment penalty last year. Host: Did you have to do that? It wasn’t due, was it? Elon Musk: I know it was not due for another ten years or something. Host: Why did you pay it off early? Elon Musk: The taxpayers supported Tesla. We ought to repay them as soon as we can. And since we had the ability to do it and the stock markets were good, we thought, “Well, let’s pay it back with interest and a thank you note, by the way,” which said, you know, “I really, really appreciate it. Thank you.”

Elon Musk: “I wake up, I work, I go to sleep. Wake up, work, and do that seven days a week. My workload went up from 70–80 hours a week to probably 120.” Nobody works harder than Elon Musk. He has done more for humanity than anyone else.

Elon Musk:”You get taxed on what you earn, you get taxed on what you buy, and you get taxed on what you own. And what does it get spent on? A bunch of stuff you don’t even agree with. That’s why we need to reduce the size of government, spend less money and let the people keep a lot more of their hard-earned money.”

Elon Musk: ”I think there are great things in every culture. We don’t want the German culture to disappear. We don’t want French culture to disappear. We don’t want Korean culture to disappear, or Japan, or America, or anywhere. I think we should be very cautious about having some sort of global mixing pot, because every place will be the same, and there won’t be any unique cultures in the world. Which I think would make the world worse. So I think we need to preserve these country cultures, and that’s the future that I think is better. I think that most people would agree is better. We shouldn’t have cultures disappear. And currently, based on the current birth rates and the sort of so-called multiculturalism and globalism, what we’re actually seeing is the dilution of individual cultures and the destruction and death of individual cultures, which I think is terrible for the future.”

Elon Musk to the British people: “You’re in a fundamental situation here where you, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die.”
