Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are married! For weeks, the internet was awash with speculation—about the date, the location, the guest list. (The rumored celebrity attendees included everyone from Rio Ferdinand to Rihanna.) In the end, the couple’s wedding took place on a symbolic date: August 11, the 10th anniversary of the day they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid. Instead of a blowout celebration, the couple, who have over 750 million Instagram followers between them, got married in their living room. “It was exactly as I’d imagined it,” says Georgina.
