The problem with blaming Elon for supposedly “killing millions of children” is that he was not the king of the United States. He was an advisor to the President.
If these spending cuts were really killing millions of children, why would the President approve it? Why did Congress not come together to override it? Why did courts not overturn it?
The reason all this hate was directed at one person is that they wanted to neutralize him. He was cutting the waste and fraud they lived on.
So they had to equate cutting waste with “murdering millions of babies”. It’s ridiculous when you think about it. But we have enough stupid people in this country that the argument worked and we are still in the same mess.
This man figured out how to launch stuff into space for a fraction of the cost. He figured out how to make electric cars profitably. He could have transformed the federal government too if the fraudsters anti-viral response wasn’t directed squarely at him.
Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie Scott has given over $26,300,000,000 to charity, making her one of the biggest individual donors in history.
She wants to spend the majority of her Bezos fortune on helping others and making the world a better place.
One week from today is the one year anniversary of the Tesla Robotaxi launch.
They started with 11 supervised cars in one city.
Now they have 725 cars across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Silicon Valley. The fleet grew 66x larger in less than one year.
One year ago there were 0 unsupervised Robotaxis. Now there are 69. The launch of unsupervised Robotaxis using just pure vision is a historic achievement.
Still lots of work to go, and demand is still way higher than the current fleet can supply. But kudos to the Tesla team for a great start.
If they were to grow the fleet 66x again over the next year, they would have 48,000 cars. For context Waymo has about 3,000 vehicles.
If you love them, make sure they're in a Tesla.
Note that this wasn't even in self-driving mode. The car protected him even when it was being driven manually.
My Tesla entered The Grove parking structure, found parking, and then later exited the garage entirely on its own.
All I had to do was tap one button on the screen, and put the parking ticket in the machine. Tesla AI is absolutely insane.
Just subscribed to Grok SuperHeavy so I could try out their new command line interface.
They have a special deal going where it's only $99 a month for the next 6 months, instead of the usual $299
