In Munich, I took some time to drive XPENG L03 and test the performance of our Next Generation Pilot (NGP) system with @liuxianming . The results amazed me. Take a look at what we're bringing to European users, an intelligent driving experience designed for local traffic rules and right of way.

First from APAC, XPENG navigates with Google Maps. Today, XPENG L03 officially launches with Google Maps Auto SDK integration. Special thanks to Jorgen Behrens and the Google Maps team for joining us here in Munich. From today, XPENG drivers will enjoy real-time EV route planning, accurate energy estimation, and seamless NGP intelligent driving on every journey. When the right teams move fast, extraordinary results follow. Kudos to everyone in the project! Moving forward, XPENG will continue to bring smarter and more intuitive in-cabin experience to our global users.

Ahead of the big brand day, I'm pleased to share that following its successful rollout in China this March, XPENG's Next Generation Pilot (NGP) intelligent driving system powered by VLA 2.0 technology will launch in Europe in early 2027. We've been testing on European roads for quite some time and results are pretty positive as in the video. I will also be testing it on the Munich road later today. Your turn @liuxianming ! And we're not stopping there. We look forward to working with European partners to bring XPENG Robotaxi fleet powered by the same foundation model to local markets. Together, we'll accelerate the future of autonomous mobility.

Super excited to be the very first rider in our Robotaxi internal trial. Ordered it right outside our office building — hailed, got in, sat down, and off we went. This marks the first time we've fully connected the online booking and offline riding experience. Sitting in that car, I couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. We announced the Robotaxi plan last November, kicked off public-road testing this January, rolled out production vehicles in May, and now, just eight months later, we've run the whole loop and started internal trials. That's faster than we ever expected. Huge thanks to everyone on the Robotaxi team who made this happen. True large-scale deployment of Robotaxis is a long journey. Next, we'll keep doubling down on safety, fine-tune the experience, and improve generalization, steady steps all the way. I'm really looking forward to the day when our internal users, locals in Guangzhou, and travelers visiting the city can all pull out their phones, hail a XPENG Robotaxi, and hop in for a ride. And for this first taste of Robotaxi? I give it a solid 10/10!

XPENG AI Open wrapped up last night. Thrilled to see more than 20,000 contestants from the company and top universities propose over 7,000 creative AI ideas through the past quarter — from efficiency tools and AI‑powered mobility design to game‑changers for product development process. At XPENG, my colleagues consume tens of billions of tokens every day, driving a profound transformation in how we work. AI is not about replacement; it’s about upskilling and empowering everyone.

40,126 XPENG cars were delivered in June, representing a 15.9% YoY increase. Thank you for all the trust from our users. Starting this month, we are shifting into turbo mode, with multiple new products and breakthrough technologies ready to take the stage. Stay tuned.

VLA 2.0 goes global, locked in. This week, the UN WP.29 Contracting Parties approved: DCAS UNR 171 Series 02, covering urban NGP functionality regulations UNR ADS, covering L3 to L5 autonomous driving regulations DCAS 171 Series 02 will take effect as mandatory EU regulation in six months, meaning autonomous driving can legally enter the global market starting from late 2026. UNR ADS is still a framework regulation for now, but it will help accelerate Robotaxi (L4) approvals and deployment across different markets. Stay tuned for XPENG's VLA and VLM rollout overseas in 2027, where you'll be able to talk to and control your car in a mix of Chinese and local languages.😉

Really happy to hand over the keys to our 60,000th XPENG owner worldwide here in Hong Kong, Mr. Alan Chan, a true legend in Chinese design. From the Coca-Cola Chinese logo to the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Hong Kong International Airport emblem, his work has defined eras. After 55 years of uncompromising standards in design, he chose the X9. That means a lot to our entire design team. He told me what struck him most was the X9's futuristic silhouette. It breaks away from the stiffness of traditional MPVs. The agile rear-wheel steering, the space, the intelligent experience, he saw it as the best fusion of technology and aesthetics. When top-tier design meets extreme technology, that's Chinese aesthetic confidence. Thank you, Mr. Chan. Tech equality, aesthetics forward.

The future of physical AI just rolled off the line. Proud to share that XPENG’s first Robotaxi model has started mass production in Guangzhou — just six months after we unveiled the plan at AI Day last November. Powered by 4 in-house developed Turing chips, VLA 2.0 system, and 3,000 TOPS compute, the Robotaxi model built on our 6-seater flagship SUV GX is also China’s first mass-produced Robotaxi featuring pure vision, steer-by-wire chassis, and pre-installed full redundancy. Pilot operations begin in H2 2026. See you on the road.
