Yesterday I read a really interesting article about the difference between Eastern beauty in China and Japan. It said that Chinese aesthetics emphasize hope and optimism, while Japanese aesthetics lean toward melancholy and the beauty of empty space.
Either way, there's so much that different cultures can learn from each other～it's only through mutual exchange that civilizations can truly flourish.
