Remember this: in order for someone to strip your rights/privacy they must have a suitable moral justification. The latest moral justification is child protection. The reason this works is because child protection is obviously important and necessary. Only a monster wouldn’t want children protected. So under this guise, this moral shield, they can strip freedoms from you, and push towards their actual objective which is complete and total surveillance and control over global dialogue and communication.
