Visiting Shenzhen China 🇨🇳 today and wow! There is no way someone can stand here and not be inspired by how much China has changed in the past 3 decades 🤯 There is not another city on the planet that has transformed the way Shenzhen has, once a fishing village of 25,000 people, it’s now home to 18 million people and the hub of tech and innovation in China 🇨🇳 This is the @DJIGlobal headquarters, that’s right, the company that has emerged as the number one drone company in the world is based in this building Over 8,000 employees spread across offices, R&D Centers and testing facilities. This is honestly one of the most impressive buildings I’ve ever seen The British Trade Minister just visited Shenzhen for the FIRST time in 40 years last week and just think, how many politicians around the world could understand where China is and where it is going if they simply came and saw the truth with their own eyes. To borrow a phrase from my friend and China insider @shaunrein the next China is China! 🚀

Up for a wild ride? Conquer China’s ‘Road Underwater’ with massive splashes! Part of China’s Yongwu Highway, built across the Poyang lake, is known as the “Most Beautiful Road Under Water”. Every year, during the rainy season, part of the Yongwu highway becomes submerged in rising water of the Poyang Lake due to heavy downpour. Every year when the road is flooded, locals and tourists drive down it, splashing water around.
