AMD reported record revenue of $10.3 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 38% from last year. >The Data Center business grew strongly to $5.8 billion, up 57%, driven by high demand for AI chips and EPYC processors. >Client and Gaming revenue hit $3.6 billion, up 23% from last year. AMD warns of lower gaming sales in the second half of the year due to higher memory and component costs. CFO Jean Hu said: “We expect second-half demand in gaming to be impacted by higher component and memory costs. We now expect second-half gaming revenue to decline by more than 20% compared to the first half.” CEO Lisa Su noted the tight memory supply caused by AI demand. She said the company is “planning the business accordingly.” So yes, expect higher prices for graphics cards, RAM, and PC parts through the rest of 2026.
