An indie game developer who was blocked on Steam over “potential infringement” of his own work has finally received approval after submitting a license declaration to himself.
According to the developer, Steam’s review process flagged parts of the game for possible copyright concerns, even though the assets and content were created entirely by the developer.
To resolve the issue, he reportedly had to provide formal documentation confirming that he had permission to use his own work.
