Capcom has stated that generative AI “still cannot match” the skill of human developers behind major franchises such as Resident Evil and Monster Hunter.
In a recent update, the company emphasized its commitment to human creativity for game content, confirming: “We will not implement assets generated by AI into our games.”
Instead, Capcom plans to use AI as a supportive tool to boost efficiency and productivity, particularly in testing and repetitive development tasks that do not involve final creative output.
