A Reddit user logged into his dad’s old World of Warcraft account after about 15 years and found something incredibly rare: the original Collector’s Edition quest “Welcome to Warcraft”
The quest, from WoW’s 2004 Collector’s Edition, lets players choose one of three exclusive pets: Mini Diablo, Panda Cub, or Zergling.
More than 20 years later, these remain some of the rarest pets in the game.
The original Collector’s Edition has become highly valuable, with complete copies and unused codes selling for €500 to over €1,500 depending on condition and demand.
