The Changtai (Changzhou-Taizhou) Yangtze River Bridge, the world’s longest-span cable-stayed bridge, opens in east China’s Jiangsu Province.
Spanning 10 kilometers, it cuts travel time between the two cities — which are about 90 km apart — from 80 minutes to 20 minutes, contributing to development of the Yangtze Economic Belt and integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
