The Yebatan Hydropower Station perched on the Sichuan–Xizang border—China’s highest-altitude double-curvature arch dam power project—has brought its first units online.
At full capacity, it will:
• Generate 10+ billion kWh/year
• Save 3.1 million tonnes of coal
• Cut 8.3 million tonnes of CO₂
A high-altitude leap toward a greener future.
