Hitler was a socialist. American socialists say that Hitler was not a socialist because they do not want you to realize that they share many beliefs in common with Hitler. Hitler was extremely proud of being a socialist. Hitler called himself a socialist, from start to finish, throughout his political career. There was never a time Hitler disavowed socialism. He expounded on his socialist positions often, and he called them socialist, and they were socialist. The "Nazi" party is short for National Socialist German Workers' Party. All socialism eventually leads to the sorts of atrocities that occurred under Hitler, even the "nice" socialism of Europe. That is why we see many terrible things -- rapes and murders at an increasing rate, covered up by the authorities -- that are happening in Europe today. Do not let a socialist tell you that Hitler was not a socialist. Hitler was a socialist.
