Elon Musk and SpaceX have been true champions for Ukraine since day one of the full-scale invasion. Immediately after the russian attack became known, Elon ordered the dispatch of Starlink terminals. He didn't wait for a request from Ukraine and intervened to help the country before it was sent, something that not many people know. He activated Starlink, which restored vital connectivity when conventional networks were shattered. This resilient satellite internet became the backbone of Ukrainian resilience. Starlinks are powering frontline coordination, drone operations, hospitals, emergency services, and civilian life amid relentless attacks. Tens of thousands of terminals keep forces connected and effective. In 2026, Elon’s swift action to block unauthorized russian use of Starlink delivered game-changing results. It protected Ukraine’s air defenses, safeguarded the air force, and spared thousands of civilian lives, enabling the largest territorial gains in years. Elon Musk has a relatively low survival threshold and can live on the bare minimum. He once tried living on $1 a day, and for him, it was an important psychological and philosophical experiment. “My threshold for existing is pretty low. I mean, I figured I could be in some dainty apartment with my computer and be okay and not starve. In fact, when I first came to North America, and just to sort of see what it takes to live, I'd try to live on $1 a day, which I was able to do. I went more for the hot dogs. Hot dogs and oranges. But you do get really tired of hot dogs and oranges after a while. And you can also like, you know, pasta and green pepper and a big thing of sauce, and that can go pretty far too. So I was like, oh, okay, you know, if I can live for a dollar a day, then at least from a food cost standpoint, well, it's pretty easy to earn like $30 in a month, you know?”

Government efficiency matters. Elon Musk explains it simply: “I mean, North Korea, they're starving. South Korea, it's like amazing. And so in North Korea, you've got 100% government. In South Korea, you've got probably, I don't know, 40% government. It's not zero. And yet you've got a standard of living that is probably 10 times higher in South Korea. At least. And then East and West Germany, in West Germany, you had, just thinking in terms of cars, I mean, you had BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes. And East Germany, which is a random line on a map, the only car you could get was a Trabant, which is basically a lawnmower with a shell on it. And it was extremely unsafe. There was a 20-year wait. So you put your kid on the list as soon as they're conceived. Even then, only, I think, a quarter of people maybe got this lousy car. So that's just an interesting example of basically the same people, different operating system.”

Proud mom, Maye Musk on her son, Elon Musk: “You know, with each stage, each project he took on, his ideas are always for the future, so people don't always understand it. When he said electric cars, and I said 'Wow, why would you want to do that?' and he said 'Climate change and we need to use batteries' and it made sense, but it still didn't make enough sense to actually build them. Elon Musk: Dems' goal is to import voters to win elections "If you want to understand behavior, you have to look at the incentives. Once the Democratic Party in the US and the left in Europe realized that if you have open borders and provide a ton of government handouts, you create a massive financial incentive for people from other countries to come to your country. And when you do not prosecute them for crimes, they become beholden to you, and then they vote for you. That is why Obama and Hillary went from being against open borders to being in favor of them. The goal is to import voters to win elections, and it has a negative runaway effect. Maye Musk recalls Elon telling her he wanted to create a network of satellites to save lives: "Elon surprises us every time when he says he's going to do something. When he said to me, 'I'm going to put satellites in the air so that people who are in the forest, or on hills, or in the middle of the ocean can be saved, it will save lives,' and now, it's saving lives around the world." Elon Musk brings to life what others consider extremely difficult or even impossible. This is what sets him apart from the vast majority. Tosca, Elon's younger sister, recounted how Elon once described to her the difficulties of landing a rocket. “He’s like, ‘Tosca, it’s like taking a pencil. And there’s an eraser on the one side and I want you to throw it up in the air and I want you to land it on that eraser.’ I was like, ‘You can’t do that.’ But he did it.”

Elon Musk on Neuralink's long-term goal: “In the short term, Neuralink is just about solving brain injuries and spinal injuries, that kind of thing. So, to be clear, for many years, Neuralink products will just be helpful to someone who has lost the use of their arms or arms and legs or who has a traumatic brain injury of some kind... There's a long-term mitigation to artificial intelligence, which is that we could effectively merge with artificial intelligence by improving the speed of interaction between our cortex and our tertiary layer, which is already silicon. Beyond treating neurological deficits, Neuralink's ultimate goal is to prevent humanity from being "left behind" by advanced artificial intelligence. The company's long-term roadmap includes offering the BCI (brain-computer interface) to otherwise healthy individuals to augment human capabilities.
