For those living along the Tokyu Ikegami Line:
Right in front of Senzokuike Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line, you'll find the beautiful Senzoku-ike Pond.
Why not take a stroll there this weekend?
It is one of the largest and most scenic ponds in Tokyo. The area is dotted with historic spots, such as the site where legend says the Buddhist monk Nichiren washed his feet, as well as the grave of Katsu Kaishu. It’s a wonderful place to relax, whether you're interested in renting a boat or simply enjoying the seasonal nature around the pond.
I often go for walks there on weekends with my wife and my two-year-old son.
The photo I’ve attached was taken during a recent visit. I was trying to frame the shot with an extreme crop, inspired by the ukiyo-e woodblock prints of Hiroshige Utagawa, but... well, it’s harder than it looks!
