Lara Trump says Democrats have decided “nowhere is off limits” in their opposition to President Trump, arguing the rhetoric has fueled escalating political violence: “You know, it has seemed for a long time that, for the Democrats, all in the name of being anti-Trump, the ends justify the means, no matter how crazy or how dangerous it has gotten. We all remember it started with, ‘If you see Republicans or anyone from this administration at a gas station, you get up in their face. You push back on them.’ And that was just the beginning of all of this. They have decided that basically nowhere is off limits. It’s why we’ve seen such an escalation in violence against law enforcement. It’s why we saw federal buildings burned to the ground and small businesses destroyed during the mostly peaceful protests. You’ve had assassins target Supreme Court justices. And, as you just said, our president has nearly been murdered three, maybe four times now. This is who this party is.”
