this is actually insane the entire purpose of academia is the pursuit of truth. nothing should supersede truth. otherwise it's literally indoctrination yet only 43% of female psychology professors said truth should come first. even among men, barely two thirds did. these people should genuinely be barred from ever teaching students once "equity" becomes a reason to lie, academia has already failed at the one thing it exists to do

this is the real problem most people just don't realize the scale of the fertility collapse. population pyramid inversion in almost all countries and old people massively outnumbering kids is THE cataclysm you won't see the tsunami coming or the meteor in the sky or people dying in a pandemic, but that doesn't mean it’s less existential In the US, if the current fertility trajectory continues, for every 100 people today you'll be left with 25 people in a century. that's like having a pandemic that kills 75% of people worse than your “cataclysmic” bubonic plague. but it happens slower and for self centered people it’s impossible to grasp. the tragedy of modern man is that he has been removed from history and for him nothing exists but today and maybe tomorrow, that’s a real catastrophe. “it doesn’t affect me personally so it’s not a problem” what’s even worse is that the economy might even keep doing great because of AI and robots. the market will boom while humans bring themselves to extinction. you can have rising GDP per capita and a dying civilization at the same time things always get better until they don't

people don’t realize this, but 2026 appears to be the first year in human history where humanity as a whole is below replacement fertility. this has never happened before. not during wars. not during pandemics. for the first time in human history, we are not producing enough children to replace ourselves. this is the only real existential crisis.

the new State of Fertility Report for the US just came out and it’s a real blackpill the main findings are basically: - the current fertility decline is worse than any other - if this keeps going, US population will start declining in less than a generation, much sooner than most forecasts assumed - americans still want about 2.4 children, but are having fewer than 1.6 - culture matters A LOT. supportive friends, people around you and even celebrities affect how many children people want - if policymakers actually want to change this, it will require a lot of money and serious interventions people often say america was built by immigrants, but around 80% of all the people who have ever lived in america were born there and without american children there's no america left you can use immigration to support population growth for a while, but no country can survive indefinitely if the people already there stop having children

i didn't believe it at first but it turns out it's true? and with no other race it's like impossible to find a white mom with a white kid on google. i don't even think it's peak woke as much as it is simple White hatred
